Our Founder
Dr. Doug Wingate, DTCM, FMHC, L.Ac., MP-MPr is a pioneering integrative medicine doctor, acupuncturist, mycologist and the visionary founder of 7 Gates Apothecary. With over 15 years of experience in neuro-rehabilitation and a PhD in integrative medicine, Doug seamlessly blends modern neuroscience and mycology with the ancient wisdom of Chinese herbal formulas into a body of work we call Neuro-mycology, a deep study of how mushrooms interact with the human brain and nervous system.
